VISIT US

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Our services are 90 minutes long, and they include a welcome, a call to worship from Scripture, worship through singing, church and ministry notices, prayer and a faithful, clear and relevant Biblical sermon. We sometimes have personal testimonies. On the third Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper or Communion. If you are a believer, you are welcome to partake in this celebration with us, even as a visitor. After the service, we offer prayer to our elders again to anyone in need. We also serve tea, coffee and cool drinks in the quad outside the Sanctuary. There is a particular Welcome Table for our guests where you can also get a free piece of delicious cake.
WHEN SHOULD I GET THERE?
Our services start at 9:00 a.m., so we recommend that you plan to arrive around 8:45 a.m. This will give you time to find parking and make your way into the Sanctuary. If you have children under the age of 4 and wish to use our amazing creche ministry, we recommend you arrive around 8:30 a.m. to give you time to register your child and get them settled before joining the rest of the Northside family in the Sanctuary.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that children are not just part of the future church, they are a vital part of the church today. Which is why your children will be welcomed into the Northside family with open arms. Our children’s ministry will, as the Scripture teaches, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Prov. 22:6.)
We encourage families to stay together for the first half of the service. We want our children to be part of our worship through song and through giving. We want them to hear what’s happening in, through and around the church. We understand children and we want you to know that we love them and you, even if they make a fuss. It does not bother us. But if it bothers you and you are feeling uncomfortable, we have a creche for children under 4 and a baby cry-room. You can sit in the cry-room with your child and watch and listen to the service live on a large screen TV.
