ACTIVITIES
The WOW Kids ministry is a vibrant and engaging space where children from Grade 3 to Grade 7 (ages 9-12) come together for an afternoon of faith, fun, and friendship! Every gathering is filled with high-energy games that spark joy and excitement, setting the stage for an immersive time of learning and spiritual growth.
Through dynamic praise and worship, the children lift their voices and hearts. They dive into Bible stories, exploring lessons that inspire and shape their understanding of faith. Memory verses help them build a strong foundation in God’s Word, encouraging them to carry biblical wisdom with them wherever they go.
Creative and interactive activities ensure that every child is engaged, learning, and growing in a fun, hands-on way. And after all the action, there are delicious refreshments to keep them energised and refreshed! WOW Kids meets on Friday afternoons during the school term from 2-4 pm.

The Children are now able to read the Bible and recite Memory verses.

Testimonies
Being a member of the team and witnessing God’s word uplift and support the kids after their reading sessions has deepened my conviction that the Holy Spirit is the teacher and that God wants to develop relationships with both adults and children. Additionally, I introduced the resources to our church’s Sunday school through the cooperation between Wow Kids and Hope Kids.
Using the outlined teacher manual in my Bible study preparation has diversified the tools and methods used because of the innovative yet targeted sharing outlines of the guided courses.
Through the gift of storytelling, retelling, and worship, Wow Kids expands the reading program’s larger goal of instilling values, norms, and ethics. As the children read the scripture, share their memory verses with music or dance. While answering application questions for each story, their communication skills grow as scripture becomes alive and part of their present life.

How to get involved
If you would like to learn more, we would love to welcome you to attend WOW Kids after reading, which takes place weekly on Fridays during the school term from 2 pm to 4 pm at the church. Whether you are passionate about singing, teaching God’s Word or want to serve in the kitchen, you are invited to join us for an energy-filled afternoon.
