MISSION STATEMENT
Empowering teenagers to grow in faith, live in love, and lead with purpose as disciples of Christ while making His name known in every aspect of their lives.
ACTIVITIES
Our ministry is passionately dedicated to nurturing and empowering the next generation through faith, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Guided by our Church’s theme, “Walking in the Spirit, Activated for Growth,” we create meaningful, Christ-centered experiences that inspire and equip our youth.
Each Friday, our vibrant gatherings welcome an average of 25 teenagers—an ever-growing community where first-time visitors are embraced and encouraged to become active members. We strive to cultivate a warm, inclusive space where young people can deepen their faith and form lasting friendships.
Beyond our regular meetings, we provide diverse opportunities for spiritual enrichment and personal growth. Whether it’s using their gifts in the youth band, engaging in mentorship programs within ladies’ and men’s ministries, or fostering deeper connections in Community Life groups, our youth are empowered to grow in their faith and leadership.
A highlight of our year is our annual camp, held in collaboration with young adults—a powerful time to step away from distractions, immerse in fellowship, and connect deeply with God. This retreat is a cornerstone of spiritual renewal and relationship-building.
We also actively participate in church-wide events, such as Kidzcan Sunday and Taste of the Nations, demonstrating our commitment to serving both our congregation and the wider community. Many of our members have made life-changing spiritual commitments, including baptism, and we continue to pray for more young hearts to dedicate their lives to Christ.

Testimonies
I’ve learned so much about faith and service as a Christian youth at Icthys. Interacting with other believers of my age group has helped me understand more about Christ and His purpose for us. I always get wise information from many places, but Icthys has helped me on how to apply it in real situations as a teenager being groomed to be an adult. As a leader, it’s always great to help others grow in faith and be able to walk in step with the Spirit. Being a leader for Icthys is always a pleasure because it helps me to lead like Christ.
Deacon Comment
We want to praise God for the vibrant youth at Northside. For teenagers, Icthys is the place to be – a weekly Friday night fellowship, but also many events throughout the year. A highlight for the year was the career guidance workshop. We praise God for the turnout that came, and we just continue praying for our young people that they are guided as they choose their careers. We also celebrate the week of transformation in the August holidays for 15-25-year-olds. We had a good number of youth attending. For many, it was their first time. The week was truly life-changing.
As a church, we pray and continue to lift the youth leadership in prayer as they prepare the weekly program. It is a training ground for young leaders to take responsibility and direction for the youth group. May the youth continue walking in the Spirit.

Whether you are exploring your faith or seeking community, you are invited to join us for an evening of fun, worship and relevant teaching.
