would be looking for your support again as we look for the following to make our day a success:
Soft drinks, Snacks, rice, soups, salad cream, chicken, mixed vegetables, sweets and anything that will make the day a memorable one. If you are able to help or you need more details please see Vimbai, Nina or phone the Church Office
Christmas time is the time that we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Prison Ministry also takes this time to tell the inmates the true Christmas Story. We all fall into sin and for some it is more visible and are suffering the consequences of their actions such as loss of Jobs, family disowning them, marriage breaking down, children are now orphaned, but Jesus came to save sinners.
It is also a time we would want to share the love that God showed to us and share it with them by spending the whole day with them sharing our testimonies and theirs. Counseling them and above all, that we “spoil” them with a different menu and presents for the children.
Last year we had a wonderful time and we aim to do it better this year than last year. To do that it means we need to come up with the food and we thank God that the team is allowed to cook food in the prison as no cooked food from home is allowed. We thank you so much for your support and
“I was in prison and you came to visit me … I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
